Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2025 version of its popular hatchback car, Swift in the Indian market. This fourth generation Swift has not only come up with new designs and advanced features, but also establishes new standards of better mileage and security. Let’s know in detail about this new Swift.
New design and attractive look
The design of the new Swift is more sporty and attractive than before. This includes new LED projector headlamps, C-shape DRLs, large glossy front grille, and new chlamshell bonnet. At the back, new LED tailmps and sporty bumpers make its look even better. The car has a 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which further enhance its style.
Color option and accessory package
Swift 2024 is available in nine color options, including six mono-tone and three dual-tone options. The new colors include ‘Leaster Blue’ and ‘Nowal Orange’. Apart from this, Maruti is also introducing two accessory package – ‘Racing Roadstar’ and ‘Thrill Chaser’, which makes the car look even more personged.
Interior and features
The interior of SWIFT is now even more premium. It includes features such as new dashboard design, 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ Touchscreen Infotainment System, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, cruise control, rear AC vents, 60:40 split rear seats and keyless entry. In addition, features such as wireless charger and Suzuki Connect are also available.
New standard in security
Maruti has included 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist, electronic stability program (ESP), and 3-point seat belts for all seats as standard features in all variants, giving priority to security. Facilities like Hill Hold Assist are also available, which make driving more safe.
Engine and performance
The new SWIFT has a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine, which provides 80.46 bhp power and 111.7 Nm of torque. In the CNG variant, the same engine gives 68.8 bhp power and 101.8 Nm torque. 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT options are available for transmission
Price and variants
Available in five variants: LXI, VXI, VXI (O), ZXI, and ZXI+. Prices start from ₹ 6.49 lakh to ₹ 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition, Maruti has also introduced a subscription model, which includes a car at an initial price of ₹ 17,436 per month, including registration, maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance.
